Grant Writer/Public Relations

 

Summary:

To Write and edit clear, effictive proposals and prepare grant applications to public and private funding sources to sustain and expand programs and funding for TCCAP programs. To assist in the development and production of the agency's communications and marketing materials including, but not limited to the annual report, social media posts, blog posts, op-eds to local papers, presentation materials, and other items as necessary. Responsible for unifyiing our brand across all print and digital channels, establishing a social media presence across multiple platforms and creating an editorial calender for content marketing.

 

Credentials:

B.A. in English, Journalism, Creative Writing, Humanities, or related field which requires similar writing, analytical, creative problem-solving, and communication skills as well as experience working with early childhood programs, including Head Start/Early Head Start, preferred.

 

Family Service Worker I 

 

Summary:

The Family Service Worker assists program participants in securing social services, facilitates parent involvement, and acts as a liaison for parents and staff to ensure excellent Head Start/Early Head Start Program performance. This position also identifies family and individual involvement activities for families which contribute to self-sufficiency. 

 

Qualifications:

--High School Diploma or equivalent

--Credential or Associate's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, or closely related field.

--Two years of experience working with Children/Families required.

 

Head Start Management Aide 

Brainerd, Baxter, & Staples

 

Summary: 

The Head Start Management Aide will assist the teachers in the classroom as well supervise children on the Bus.

 

Qualifications: 

--High School Diploma or equivalent.

--One-year experience working with young children preferred.

 

Head Start Bus Drivers - Baxter & Staples

 

Summary: 

The Head Start Bus Driver, along with a Management Aide, will ensure safe passage of student between home and the Head Start Center.

 

Qualifications:

--High School Diploma or equivalent.

--One-year experience working with young children preferred.

--One or more years of experience operating vehicles; or equivalent combination of experience and training preferred.

--CDL license with Bus Endorsement; proof of insurance; and medical examiner's certificate required.



Food Preparer - Baxter

 

Summary: 

The Food Preparer assists in the preparation of Head Start/Early Head Start center meals according to Child and Adult Food Program (CACFP) and Head Start/Early Head Start performance standards. This position will also assist in cleanup using sanitation standards established by the Department of Health and facilitate food ordering.

 

Qualifications:

--High School graduate or equivalent

--Food Manager Certificate preferred.

--Previous experience or training in food services preferred.
